London - Wembley Stadium - Pro Pitch System
Testing continued in November at Wembley ahead of the international friendlies with Spain and Sweden over the past week. The pitch had taken the full brunt of the play during the NFL on the 23rd of October where the Tampa Bay Buccaneers played host to the Chicago Bears at the stadium.
In the build up to the Champions League Final it was a race against the clock. Proleisure were at Wembley to perform their thorough series of 18 tests on the pitch. As reported in the Daily Mail on 26 May 2011:
"The quality of the pitch and the football were undoubtedly connected but today the surface looks immaculate and Proleisure, the company employed to test it, believe it is the best in the country.
According to their unique testing formula, the Wembley surface is out-scoring the best pitch in the Barclays Premier League this season."
Ahead of the FA Cup Final in May, the Wembley pitch was tested following construction work completed by our partners with some excellent results.

Proleisure with their expert partners are testing the pitch against established standards. This analysis forms part of a reporting framework and is communicated to the grounds teams, agronomists, players, managers and executives prior to matches and will inform a decision on new pitch construction.
