Abu Dhabi - Emirates Palace - Rugby Event

This unique project meant converting the football pitch we had previously built in the grounds of the Emirates Palace for the FIFA Club World Cup Tournament into a rugby pitch for the LV Cup match between London Wasps and Harlequins. The team had less than a month to deliver this project – purchasing, exporting and installing equipment; setting pitch dimensions and marking it out to meet the standards of play and media; flood lights to meet HD TV requirements; ensuring all player welfare areas were fit for purpose including changing rooms, medical areas, drug testing, match official rooms along with ensuring coaches and staff were accommodated appropriately within the grandstand. This was a huge success with 5000 fans enjoying rugby at the highest level.
